    By adminApril 26, 2011

Skin rashes can be really tough to deal with, but with home remedies for skin rashes, you do not have to worry about it a lot. Skin rashes may appear in a lot of different ways. They often appear as small red colored itchy rashes on the skin. They may also occur as inflamed skin or weeping and crusty sores. There are a lot of different skin rashes and the medical treatment of each of those is connected to the cause of the rashes.

These rashes may occur anywhere on your body and may spread on the skin as well. Allergic rashes are usually the most common of all and these can be treated by taking care of the allergy itself. There may be some stinging and burning due to the rashes and these could be treated with home remedies that can calm and soothe the irritations.

    Home Remedies for Skin Rashes
    Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a natural ingredient that can help soothe any kind of skin conditions. To use aloe vera, you should simply cut off a fresh leaf and take the gel from it. this gel can help soothe cuts, burns, skin irritations and allergies as well. The aloe vera gel forms a thin layer of protection around the irritation. The gel helps nourish the skin and prevents it from any further attacks from bacteria, viruses or environmental irritants. Aloe vera soothes the skin rash and avoids burning and itching that often accompany allergies and skin rashes.

    Baking Soda
Though this is not your typical remedy for allergies, a skin rash can be cleaned and soothed by a paste of baking soda. Just make a solution with water and baking soda and wash your skin rash with this solution. This solution also helps disinfect the rash to promote healing.

    Poultices
An herbal poultice can help you deal with all the symptoms that come with skin rashes. Take some yellow dock root, chaparral and a piece of dandelion root. Grind them together to make a puree. Add some water to this puree, to make it slightly pasty in consistency. You can apply this paste to the skin where the rash or irritation has begun to form. Cover this with a bandage so that the paste remains in place. Use this several times a day till the rash comes out completely.

    Olive Oil
One of the most soothing effective home remedies for skin rashes is olive oil. Olive oil is full of antioxidants and is therefore extremely beneficial when you use it on your rashes and allergies. If you are out of olive oil you can use vitamin E oil instead.

    Herbal Teas
Herbal teas like comfrey and chamomile have healing and therapeutic qualities. Simply soak an herbal tea bag in cold water and then place it on the rash. Allow the cold tea bag to remain on the rash for a few minutes before you remove it.

    Vitamin C
Antioxidants are ideally the best home remedy for skin rash. Vitamin C and vitamin E, both of which are powerful antioxidants, can help combat skin rashes and allergies.
