Simple Home Remedies for Cough
- Fill up a cut lemon with powder of black pepper and salt and suck it in order to reduce the cough intensity. This is one of the best natural remedy for cough.
- Take a pinch of grounded white pepper in a teaspoon of pure honey. One must use it regularly for about 4-5 days. This is also one of the effective natural treatment methods to cure cough.
- Simple cough and cold can be taken care of by eating grapes for quite few days. They tone up lungs.
- Make a mixture of 1-2 gm of black pepper powder, dry ginger, long pepper in equal amounts. Take this mixture with honey 2-3 times a day as it gives quick relief from cough.
- Mix the pulp of Myrobalan fruit with honey and long pepper and take it twice a day.
- In winters one can take garlic with meals twice a week. It is very effective in prevention of cough.
- Combine grape juice with honey and have it.
- Make a paste of 1/4teaspoon of red pepper, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1/4th teaspoon of ground ginger, 1 tablespoonful of honey and about 2 tablespoon of normal water. Mix them up and take a teaspoonful of the mixture whenever you face a cough problem.

- Grind about 100 gm of raisins with some water. Add 100gm of sugar and heat up the mixture till it becomes saucy. Take the sauce in a dose of 20 gm at bedtime on a daily basis.
- Mix about 1/2 spoon of Cuscus grass (khas khas) in about 3-4 teaspoonful of coconut milk. Add about 1 teaspoon of honey and drink it at night before sleeping.
- Make tea consisting of holy basil lead and aniseed and have it. Basil is one of the wonder herb and is used in lot of natural treatment methods.
- Soak almonds in water for a while and make a paste after removing the brown skin with 20 gms of sugar and butter.
- Chew about 4 leaves of holy basil and about 4 black peppers to avoid cough and respiratory health problems. This natural treatment method is also going to make your immune system strong.
- Extract juice from onions, mix honey and have it 2-3 times a day.
- For having quick relief from cough crush about one onion of medium size, add lemon juice and a cup of hot boiling water. Add honey and drink it 2-3 times a day.
- Take some mint and eucalyptus leaves, boil them in water and inhale the vapor.
- Pour a cup of boiling water on a teaspoonful of Marjoram and let it be 10-15 minutes and drink it.
- Roast the root of turmeric and grind it into powder. Take the powder in doses of 3 gm twice in a day.

- Put few drops of essential oil of juniper in hot water and inhale it.
