I experience heel spur pain from time to time and the best thing to use is a baseball and you roll it on the heel of your foot to break up the calcium deposits. It will hurt at first but after about a minute the pain starts to subside. I do this at least 3 times a day for about 10 to 15 minutes. I watch tv when I need to use it. In about a week the pain will be completely gone. You can also use a golf ball or any hard ball.
I am Really Hurting today, and can not imagine doing that, are you crazy?
I disagree completely with miss.serrano. thats like walking in the street barefoot.when theres pain in the heel spurs no way to roll a ball any what so ever. with do RESPECT MR.DOUGLAS
have foot spur need advice on home remedies trying not to go to doctor
I use the golf ball on my foot all the time. You start gently first and then work it in harder as you adjust.
I was told to try placing your foot on a glass bottle and rolling gently for about 30mins, I found that after a few days of doing this my foot is heaps better.
I take a frozen bottle of water and do the same, it also brings down the inflammation at the same time. Before the bottles of water I used votive candles but would crush them. I have went to physical therapy for my heel spurs as well as have had cortisone shots, try it, it’s the only way to get relief. I am on my feet 8 hours a day and on concrete, I have noticed that wearing a rocker bottom shoe also helps.
